I created Fiddle Ace because I know those deep musical connections make the world a better place.
I'm a Portland-based fiddle expert, five-time national champion, and longtime fiddle educator whose students have gone on to win national championships themselves. After many years of private teaching, I started Fiddle Ace to help fiddlers everywhere feel more musical joy and confidence.
Fiddling has given me the opportunity to make friends all over the world. It's been the source of many of the most exhilarating, joyful moments of my life. And in this time when it's so easy to feel isolated from each other, I know I can always count on music to connect me with other humans in real time.
That experience of joy and connection is what I want for every fiddler (yes, that means you!)
